We have a new facebook page which makes
it easy for you to ask any questions and so
get a feel for what sort of driving school we
are - so become a friend of ours on facebook!
You can apply for your provisional driving
licence when you are 17 years old and that is
the age you can legally drive on a UK road in
a car. We are often asked do you teach people under the age of 17, the
under the legal age of 17 to drive a car on UK roads. This is a waste of
money - what is the point of teaching a pupil to drive on a car park? There is
no other traffic, no traffic lights or hazards etc... It is not real experence and
when they have their first lesson on the road we have to start from the
beginning again.
'I would thoroughly recommend Driving
Force to anyone. Paula is an excellent
teacher; patient, supportive and
encouraging. She tailored the lessons to
suit me - spending time on topics that I
struggled with (such as clutch control!) and
pushing me to achieve my full potential.
Thanks to Paula I was able to pass first time and with almost no private practice!
The additional support that
Driving Force gave me working towards the theory
test, car maintenance questions and what to expect during the test was
invaluable. I will certainly be taking up Paula's offer to do the Pass Plus course in
the very near future. Thanks Driving Force!'
